I decided to try something new. Sometimes that works out well for me, sometimes it doesn’t. This time was pretty middle of the road, although I wish I’d gone for the dolsot bibimbap.
Naruone Bulgogi
Instead, I got the beef Bulgogi, a sweet flavoured bland soup with very few ingredients and served with mediocre side dishes and a bowl of rice. I can’t be too down on it, it wasn’t bad, just boring! I was still a little hungry at the end, as the serve was small.
On the other hand, my dining partner was charmed with his beef rib soup and enjoyed the intricacies of demolishing a bowl of meaty bones!
I suspect that it may be a better idea to go to Madang if you’re in the vicinity.
